FOR TONY VAUGHAN
TONY ALWAYS LOVED TROUBLE
TONY ALWAYS LOVED MUSIC & ART...
VAUGHAN LOVED POETRY...
& DIDN'T LIKE COPS.
HE THRIVED ON A TROUBLED LIFE,
WAS FRANTIC IN HIS OWN WAY
FOR WHAT WAS NOT YET TOLD, PLAYED,
NOT YET GIVEN. I CELEBRATE THAT LIFE,
HIS POETRY, MUSIC, ART AND FRIENDSHIP.
TONY FOUGHT AGAINST THE MOLDING FIX OF AUTHORITIES,
GAVE A BETTER GRAIN BACK TO THE PEOPLE
THAN HE GENERALLY GOT. TONY WAS
A SMALL GREATNESS IN A LARGE FOOL WORLD.
WE ARE TOO, IF WE ARE LUCKY, AND NOT STOPPED BY THE COPS.
SO LONG TONY, & THANKS FOR BEING ALIVE
WHEN YOU WERE. NOBODY ASKED YOU FOR ANY MORE.© Jack Mueller
it's not a poem, not really, it's a sadness made of words,
sadly incomplete, as incomplete as tears...
I'll miss that misanthropic goof of good, what can I say?
He was better than the bitter streets
and more lasting... he loved a troubled life, more than twice.Back to Tony Vaughan
